I was born in [[London]] in [[1950]], and have a degree in [[English literature|English]] from [[Peterhouse]],  
Robert Thorpe ("Ró" [ʁɒ] in Portuguese), born in [[London, United Kingdom]] in 1950. I have a degree in [[English language|English]] ([[Peterhouse]], [[Cambridge University|Cambridge]]), and for many years worked as a teacher of the language, in [[Mâcon]], [[France]]; [[Mondovì]], [[Italy]]; [[London|Beckenham]], [[England]] (Europeans, Arabs, Japanese, Koreans, Latin Americans, Iranians...); and finally in various locations in [[Portugal]]; I am now retired in [[Esposende]].

first near [[Mâcon]], [[France]], in a Lycée Agricole, then in [[Mondovì]], [[Italy]], then
