I have a degree in [[English language|English]] from [[Peterhouse]], [[Cambridge University|Cambridge]].  For many years I worked as a teacher of the language, in [[Mâcon]], [[France]] (at a [[Agricultural school|''lycée agricole'']]); [[Mondovì]], [[Italy]]; [[Beckenham]], [[England]]; and finally in various locations in Portugal, where my wife is a [[primary school]] teacher.
