PS I have sent this message round to other constables, and already it seems you probably ''haven't'' had any problems.  That is encouraging.[[User:Edward buckner|Edward buckner]] 02:41, 13 February 2007 (CST)

: PPS thanks for your note.  Actually I answered my own question.  There are some definite bits of policy that seem to do the job I was looking for.  Rather than repeat myself, I left a message on Larry's talk page that explains the bits of policy.  On another subject, I checked out the user contributions for all the editors, and many of them stop before January.  Thus, it seems a bit quiet round here.  What was your experience?  [[User:Edward buckner|Edward buckner]] 07:00, 13 February 2007 (CST)

Thanks for the welcome. I can assure you that I have much to contribute, especially now that I don't have to deal with all the lunatics any more.--David Otto 11:44, 25 November 2006 (CST)

Approval assistance

Hello Sarah. Could you take a look at the Chiropractic article and help us with the Approval process? Larry is out of town and asked that we work through it on our own. We have the three editor agreement and have had it labeled with the ToApprove template since 12/23/2006, so all we need is someone to do the actual Approval! This is still a learning process for me, but I'm sure I'll have it down to an art soon;) Thanks! --Matt Innis (Talk) 13:00, 28 December 2006 (CST)

Thanks Sarah!!! I hope you know that now that I know you can do this... :) Let's just say, it's good to know ya! --Matt Innis (Talk) 08:28, 29 December 2006 (CST)

Metabolism

Oops,... The images do not come through because thyy are images left from th WP version, and those have not been uploaded yet. Is that a problem? Pedro Silva 06:49, 29 December 2006 (CST)

Update: (copied from Nancy's page)

Hi, Nancy! Since the images in the Metabolism article were not coming through, I uploaded one of them from WP, and drew the other one from scratch (the WP image seemed too basic...). Please check if the article can be approved with those images. Thanks!! Pedro Silva 07:45, 29 December 2006 (CST) The WP image is public domain. the other is mine... No rights reserved :-) Pedro Silva 09:32, 29 December 2006 (CST)

I think metabalism has 3-4 biology editors voting yes. Thanks for your note, Sarah. Bring out the wand! Nancy Sculerati MD 16:19, 4 January 2007 (CST)

Sorry to bother you, but the Metabolism article still has the standard disclaimer , even though it is marked "Approved" :-( Pedro Silva 06:34, 12 January 2007 (CST)

Thanks for the welcome. I honestly don't know how much time I'll have to contribute, but I suspect any time spent will be somewhat more satisfying than it ended up on WP. Ian Cundell 16:06, 21 January 2007 (CST)

Delete image

Please, could you delete this image Image:Image-Calico cat - Phoebe.jpg. Thanks, --Versuri 12:57, 22 January 2007 (CST)

Attention! Approved articles are no longer protected

At least "Metabolism" can be changed :-( Pedro Silva 16:01, 22 January 2007 (CST)

Greg, one of our tech guys, is working on the approval code. Let's wait for a report from him... --Larry Sanger 16:09, 22 January 2007 (CST)

Wikipedia credit on ":Amber Neben" article

Could someone please remove the Wikipedia credit on the Amber Neben article? It is not necessary for the reasons explained below.

The Amber Neben article was written by myself and first posted to Wikipedia. However, all of the copyrightable content is my own. Additions to the WP article made since its original posting were of a purely technical nature (spelling corrections, category stuff, formatting) which have either already been removed or are not copyrightable. Hello

Hello Sarah, Zachary (on the forums) mentioned that you are amongst one of the few younger users of CZ, so I thought I'd drop by and say hi. ;) Yim Kai-mun 10.26, 31 January 2007 (SGT)

30 years young

Oh, I'd say age is all in the mind and attitude...;) --Yim Kai-mun 18:42, 31 January 2007 (CST)

Vertebral subluxation article

That was the right version!! Thanks you, thank you! You can imagine my despair! Thanks! --Matt Innis (Talk) 09:33, 9 February 2007 (CST)

Tendentious editing

Hello - I finally joined after tendentious editing at Wikipedia got too much. First question, how is that issue dealt with here? Everyone at the 'other place' agrees that the problem is not so much the obvious trolls, but the ones who stick by the rules, just, but make life painful for other editors by repetitive questions, tendentious editing, filling up talk pages with nonsense, Wikilawyering the most obvious points.

Is there anything like a 'moderator' function here? I.e. the power to terminate protracted threads or 'calling time' when the discussion is not fulfilling the purpose of getting the article written? Edward buckner 02:41, 13 February 2007 (CST)
