Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! John Stephenson (talk) 21:27, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

Welcome

Warren William, Welcome to the wiki! I did a bit of initial reformatting of the USS Wakefield (AP-21) article, adding you as lead author for now since the article begins with a personal statement. It might make sense to move that personal statement to the Talk page. I'll be very interested to see where the article can go. Do you have any photographs of it that we might add?Pat Palmer (talk) 20:11, 27 March 2021 (UTC)

P S - I just checked and there are several photos in the public domain over in Wikimedia Commons. Would you like to choose one? If you need help to get it uploaded here, just drop a line on my Talk page.Pat Palmer (talk) 20:15, 27 March 2021 (UTC)

USS Wakefield article Talk page - good job

Warren, you did successfully move the personal statement to the USS Wakefield (AP-21) Talk page. I did a little formatting on it for you. Look at the top of each page; there are tabs, which we call "subpages", for moving among different areas of the article such as Main Article, Talk Page, External Links, etc. By the way, sometimes it's called a Discussion page, and other times a Talk page.

REMINDER: When you leave a comment anywhere, please sign the comment by place four tildes ~~~~ at the end of the post. That adds your user name the timestamp as a signature.Pat Palmer (talk) 22:24, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

The network article you wish to write

I think you will be able to write the network article here. The folks in Wikipedia sometimes can muddle a saint with their complicated rules, and there is no way to get disputes resolved except that the most aggressive editor wears everyone out by insisting they are "right". I'll be interested to read what you write.Pat Palmer (talk) 22:29, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
