Cetacean behavior

I moved out the discussion of acoustic energy on whale beaching, because it seemed far too specific for that article; see talk page. Acoustic energy is a high-level article that mentions generic and well-accepted effects on biological systems; Geophysical MASINT#Surveillance Vessel Low-Frequency Active discusses more specifics about sonar and whale behavior. Even the sonar article may be too general for this issue, especially if it is not well sourced.

An ideal might be to have a cetacean behavior article, well-linked to these articles on man-made effects, but clearly, there have been beachings and aberrant behavior when there have been no nearby high-power sources. Howard C. Berkowitz 16:50, 28 September 2008 (CDT)
