Welcome to Citizendium

Jason, Welcome to the wiki! Please leave a note on my Talk page if you have any questions. Pat Palmer (talk) 13:11, 24 April 2023 (CDT)

Could you make us a stub for jujutsu (jujitsu, jiu jutsu, whatever spelling is best)?

Jason, could you create a stub article for jujutsu? It need not have the amount of detail that the Wikipedia version has, but at least a brief definition of it, and we can then say "see the Wikipedia article for more details". The point is, the Wikipedia article is long and messy. What makes jujutsu unique from other martial arts? Is it mainly the lineage that defines it? How is it distinct in techniques or emphasis from, say, various karates or tai chi styles? Pat Palmer (talk) 16:19, 27 April 2023 (CDT)

Nyingbulam topic

I deleted your Nyingbulam article for now but intend to restore most or all of its information once I look into it a bit more. My first question for you is, what might be the best name for the article? "Nyingbulam (martial art)", "Nyingbulam (jujutsu)", "Nyingbulum jujutsu" or simply "Nyingbulam"? I doubt that the word needs disambiguation, so it's okay if you think simply Nyingbulam is the best title, but I wanted your opinion. Most people will not have heard of it, so it doesn't hurt to go for a specific title. Pat Palmer (talk) 16:19, 27 April 2023 (CDT)

Jason, I have revised the Nyingbulam (jujutsu) article, and it would be great if you could look it over and contact me with any needed corrections or additions (please, do not edit the article directly yourself, as that is not allowed). You have my email, or can leave a message on my Talk page in this wiki. I do not know if I would be able to get it onto Wikipedia; their notability requirements are stringent, but if you want to try that, we would need some additional online resources (because they do not accept YouTube, Facebook, etc. as reliable enough overall). Best regards, Pat. Pat Palmer (talk) 09:57, 19 February 2024 (CST)
