Hi Natasha.  Nice work over at Fossilization.  We need to work at securing permissions to use the images you've uploaded. I'd appreciate if you'd take a moment and visit the images you uploaded, their pages, and give specific source information, as far as you know it: who holds the copyright, the books they came from and page numbers, Call #s, web-address, etc.  Treat it as though you are publishing and having to secure these permissions to avoid trouble with copyrights--because that is exactly the case here!  :-)  I'm pretty experienced at this sort of stuff so I'll help.  The more precise the data to start with the more easy it is to secure permissions.  —Stephen Ewen (Talk) 00:19, 26 September 2007 (CDT)

:By the way, I am sure you know already, but one way to avoid having to secure permissions for these is to obtain alternatives that are already licensed to allow for reproductions or are in the public domain.  —Stephen Ewen (Talk) 01:37, 26 September 2007 (CDT)

Hi Natasha, are you one of Lee Bergers' students? He said he was going to let some of you loose in here. Thanks for the help and feel free to ask questions.  :) Chris Day (talk) 12:53, 24 September 2007 (CDT)

Documentation of images

By the way, I am sure you know already, but one way to avoid having to secure permissions for these is to obtain alternatives that are already licensed to allow for reproductions or are in the public domain. See CZ:Images#Copyrights for more info.  —Stephen Ewen (Talk) 01:37, 26 September 2007 (CDT)
