Hi Mary, I found you via Ro Thorpe's talk page and what curious what your comment meant. Just wanted to tell you that when I read your comment about being a cat owner, at first I read "cat-owned." That seemed cute enough that I had to write to you to suggest the change in your profile, if you like it.
I'm not a constable or an editor, but I was a constable for a while about three years ago. I'm not sure what you're asking. If you mean by "Does this mean any CZ contributor can do this?" can any contributor ban someone, then no, only constables - ''but'' [[CZ:Charter#Article_40|according to the Charter]], both the Management Council and the Editorial Council can order a ban too. If you mean, can any contributor draw others' attention to rules, then yes, as long as they're not using an article Talk page to call for sanctions against someone whom they believe to be at fault. The point I was trying to make there is that [[CZ:Talk Pages|Talk pages are for discussing the progress of the article]], not for making appeals to the Constabulary or the Editorial Council about the qualifications of editors. What you were saying, in my view, ''could'' have been interpreted by the Constabulary as outside the points I referred to, and ''could'' have been used to argue for a warning or ban.  


If you are concerned about how the rules on CZ may be restricting what you want to write about, you could always upload your article of choice elsewhere (I used to do this, when I was still on WP as well as CZ). Although by uploading material to CZ you release it for modification under the CC-by-sa licence, you do separately retain copyright to the original material, so you can release it multiple times in different places, without having to provide attribution to the place you released it to first. For instance, you could release your version of choice of [[unidentified flying object]] - ''without'' any other people's work, even half a sentence - on [http://knowino.org/wiki/Unidentified_flying_object Knowino] , and you would not have to credit CZ. Just add the <nowiki>CZauthor</nowiki> template to the top of the Knowino article's Talk page. See [http://knowino.org/wiki/Talk:Space_%28mathematics%29 Space] for an example - basically it's <nowiki>{{CZauthor|2=~~~~}}</nowiki>. Subsequently, the Constabulary removed your demand because it broke the rules. I saw that coming and tried to clarify beforehand that your behaviour on the wiki ''could'' be interpreted as enough to warrant a ban, especially as you've been banned before (in the same way that you can call your rowdy neighbour's attention to laws about noise pollution, without being a cop.) The names of the author missing are so because that information was not provided by the Wikimedia Commons page of the files. I swear that I uploaded the articles with all my good faith.

This license requires that the source be cited on all copies of the content. I think this is enough to prove that all photos uploaded from that source could be used with no problems here. Concerning Juan Manuel Fangio's photograph, -which is in PD for it was taken in 1952- I found it in a collection of photographs published by Diario Clarín of Argentina, titled "Photograph in Argentine History", where most of them provided data on the photographer and the source/collection where it was taken from. This photo appears with the label ''Autor sin identificar'' (Unidentifed author) and cites the same source I did, Museum "Juan Manuel Fangio". :Malinois are from Belgium. They were originally bred to herd sheep. My Malinois mix came from our local animal shelter where she was called a "miniature shepherd". I later found out she was a Malinois. I'm more of a cat person but I LOVED Nikki. She was an excellent kid's dog and she loved her kitties. Sadly, she was only with me for 7 years before dying from brain cancer. Back when I had a personal web page I used to have a Nikki web page with the Rainbow Bridge poem. Malinois are smaller and they have rounded "cat feet" versus the larger foot German Shepherd. Most Malinois excel at herding and agility. I don't know if GSD have similar characteristics. In my married life I have had three dogs:  a poodle mix; a Malinois mix and a German Shepherd mix. The GSD mix was my last dog and I adopted her when she was about 15 years old. She lived with us for almost two years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. I've always had both cats and dogs in residence even with the high prey dogs. Never had a problem either.
