Depends what you mean. How organized does it have to be to count? How much reorganization is needed to count as a new party? The British Conservative and Liberal traditions could perhaps claim origins as far back as the 17th century. [[User:Peter Jackson|Peter Jackson]] 10:02, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
