Update, September 9: today, we reduced our number of editors by several dozen, pending posted biographies. The removed persons joined us in 2006, before we made it a policy to require a public-facing biography ''before'' becoming an editor. They are still welcome to be editors--we know who they are, and they are well qualified--but we do now require a public biography first for all contributors.
