The British Doctors Aspirin Trial was a randomized controlled trial started about 1980 that was designed to test chemoprevention with aspirin for the primary prevention of vascular disease.[1]

Secondary analysis of the British Doctors Aspirin Trial suggest aspirin may reduce colorectal cancer.[2]
