While this weapon is not yet widely deployed, many subject field experts speculate it will be widely deployed. It can be retrofitted into the turrets of vehicles that currently deploy the less powerful M242 Bushmaster. See Talk:M242 Bushmaster#Should this article be kept or deleted?.

Lots of projects get a lot of money spent on them, get significant coverage in reliable sources, without, in the end getting deployed. In my opinion, they still merit coverage, because the work on those projects end up influencing the choice of whatever does end up getting deployed. George Swan (talk) 01:59, 11 July 2024 (CDT)`
