Created in 2005, the Congressional Out of Iraq Caucus is made up of Representatives, all Democrats, who supported a quick withdrawal of U.S. forces from the Iraq War. Rep. Maxine Waters of California announced the group; her speech also mentioned a withdrawal from the Afghanistan War (2001-2021) but that has not been a caucus theme.
