I was graduated from Purdue University in Industrial Engineering and from George Washington University with a masters degree in Industrial Administration.

Having retired several years ago I became involved with the local historical society's creation of a permanent, interpretive exhibit focusing on Nathanael Greene's retreat, race, and crossing of the Dan River here in Halifax County, Virginia. Although not a history educator, I have researched the subject for the past 3 years.
