Link the article below on which you have made a copy edit to the draft of an approved article. A sysop will look over the change and make a judgment about whether or not to make the correction.

Copyedit corrections to approved articles can be made outside the approval process provided the change does not change the meaning of the sentence. If the sysop rules that a copyedit constitutes a content edit, the article will need to be re-approved.

    • Needs more consideration. "...discovered that bacteriophages are viruses that attack and destroy bacteria." Twort likely discovered that certain viruses destroyed bacteria. It is not obvious to me whether he coined the term "bacteriophage" or whether this came later. I don't feel comfortable giving him this credit without more information. An editor would be great as this does have an element of content reform. D. Matt Innis 01:09, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
I think you got this wrong. Neither sentence claims that he coined the word. It is only not the best English: "he discovered in b. the" means that he indentified b. to be v. and as the cause of . But Daniel would fit as an editor. Peter Schmitt 01:27, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
