A rose garden, one of the best-known gardening specialties, is a flower garden comprising only species of the rose genus. Rose gardens have been extremely popular for centuries.

There are thousands of varieties and cultivars of roses, and these can be grown in many different styles. Arbours, espaliers, rockeries and standards can all feature roses to good effect, and any or all of these garden elements can be combined to create or enhance a rose garden, although, although simply planting the rose bushes in groups according to one's personal taste is also effective.

The all-white rose garden is another choice and is often seen in large gardens where the gardeners have enough space to house different types of garden.
