Lede

This sentence form the lede "Certain aspects of the games are so well known as to have become emblematic of Scotland, such as the bagpipes, the kilt, and the heavy events, especially the caber toss." is an inversion of reality. Kilts and bagpipes did not become emblematic of Scotland because of the games. They became part of the games because they were already emblematic of Scotland. Derek Harkness 20:25, 16 June 2007 (CDT)
