I am a medical doctor who has done Ph.D. in Biomedical engineering from IT-BHU. I enjoy Editing here (since November 04, 2006) and being a Citizen! Presently Founding Chair of Biomedical Informatics at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research [1] in Coimbatore, India. My Research interests include Automated Clinical Diagnostic Systems and EEG changes in health and disease. My homepages are: [2], [3] and [4]. I have been among the first wave of Editors invited to join Citizendium.
Presently I am the Chair of the Editorial Council.

Some articles started in Citizendium
- Clinical decision support system: Interactive computer programs that directly assist physicians and other health professionals with decision-making tasks. [e]
- Evidence-based medicine: The conscientious, explicit and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients. [e]
- Hemispheric lateralization: The (primary) localization of a brain function on either the right or left sides of the brain. [e]
- John Snow (physician): (1813 – 1858) British physician who is considered to be one of the founders of epidemiology for his work identifying the source of a cholera outbreak in 1854; also one of the pioneers of anaesthesia and medical hygiene. [e]
- Biochemistry: The chemistry of living things; a field of both biology and chemistry. [e]
- Bioengineering: The application of electrical, mechanical, chemical, optical, nuclear and other engineering principles to understand, modify and control biological (plants and animals - including human) systems. [e]
- Antarctica: The Earth's southernmost continent, located almost entirely south of the Antarctic Circle; covers the South Pole. [e]
- Electronic medical record: A digital form of medical (hospital or clinic) record. [e]
- Clinical data warehouse: A facility that houses all electronic data collected at a clinical center. [e]
- Bangla: An Indo-Aryan language of the eastern Indian subcontinent, evolved from the Magadhi Prakrit, Pāli and Sanskrit languages. [e]
