My son and I started the first Internet Service Provider business in Halifax County, Virginia, in 1995. I focused on providing Web pages of local interest with the majority being related to local history. http://www.oldhalifax.com/county/historic.htm
Having retired several years ago I became involved with the local historical society's creation of a permanent, interpretive exhibit focusing on Nathanael Greene's retreat, race, and crossing of the Dan River here in Halifax County, Virginia. Although not a history educator, I have researched the subject for the past 3 years.
