Hi Tim, | |||
Yes, I agree with you that not everyone needs a CV to be an editor. From what I understand, it depends on what the field is. In other words, an editor in the [[Philosophy Workgroup]] would certainly have to have a PhD and something that show he/she is published in several places I am sure. While, someone in the [[Hobbies Workgroup]] might only be required to show some writing skills (or something like that). The only way to find out is to apply to personnel and give it your best shot. I believe you can also work within your workgroup and work your way up, but I don't know how that works. If you would like to apply, I would suggest you contact personnel@citizendium.org. --[[User:D. Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
You can find some more information about our collaboration groups if you follow this link CZ:Workgroups.You can always ask me on my talk page or others about how to proceed or any other question you might have.
Have fun and Happy editing!

The pleasure is all mine! If you have any questions, I see you know where to find me. We've been working on a lot of policies about "How to's", so feel free to review them and make comments if something is not clear. Otherwise, find your favorite subject and have at it. If it is not there - feel free to make one! --Matt Innis (Talk) 09:36, 1 April 2007 (CDT)
CV online
Hi Tim, you asked about an "online CV". To help me understand.. is the confusion concerning an online CV because people might not know what a CV "is" or whether they "needed" an online CV? --Matt Innis (Talk) 18:57, 1 April 2007 (CDT)

An example of an online CV would look like this [1]. We only need one for someone who wants to be an editor. The link you gave me to your blog was enough for me to see that you were who you said you were. So I set you up as an author. Now if you wanted to be an editor, that would be different.
