While this weapon is not yet widely deployed, many subject field experts speculate it will be widely deployed.  It can be retrofitted into the turrets of vehicles that currently deploy the less powerful [[M242 Bushmaster]].  See [[Talk:M242 Bushmaster#Should this article be kept or deleted?]].
