Hello, I'm Steven, a sophmore at the University of South Carolina. I currently live in Columbia South Carolina and lived near Lynchburg Virginia for some years. My major is history, and I plan to eventually get a PhD and become a professor. My interests include history (especially Middle Eastern and European), politics (especially international relations), world cultures, and foreign languages. I have some knowledge of Spanish, but am nowhere near fluent in it. I am studying Arabic, and hope to learn French and perhaps even Persian at some point. My politics are very to the left-I most identify with Socialism, and wish the United States had a credible Socialist party (as opposed to the one we have now, which is a joke). In the Mideast, I tend to be moderately pro-Palestinian, and favor I Binational solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict. I am against the war in Iraq, and do not support partition as a solution to Iraq's ethnic problems. | Hello, I'm Steven, a sophmore at the University of South Carolina. In the Mideast, I tend to be moderately pro-Palestinian, and favor I Binational solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict. I am against the war in Iraq, and do not support partition as a solution to Iraq's ethnic problems.
