:Yes, Michael, the welcome does say that! But because of the big influx, we had to accept everyone as authors first, otherwise you would have had to wait weeks to get in. Your email should have told you that once you get in, to apply. That way you could start while you wait. The editor process includes more verifying than for authors. There is also the workgroup considerations. Scroll to the bottom of [http://www.citizendium.org/cfa.html the Statement] and see that you have completed step 1 and all that you need to do now is step 2.
