I was born April 20, 1973 in Rochester, NY, I'll say that my early years (prior to 1991) were without any notable events, not to mention I would probably just like to forget them anyhow...
Most of my high school years were spent in isolation, a "geek" by majority rule, but I found my interests in horses, electronics, ham radio, and hiking/camping in the high peaks region of the Adirondacks kept me happy.  In 1991, I graduated E.J. Wilson High, Spencerport, NY.  I was accepted to Clarkson and Rochester Institute of Technology.  I made the choice to attend RIT that fall.

In 1994, George Fazikas, the chair of the Computer Technology department, told me of an opportunity to work for the Equipment Management department of Monroe Community College. I was hired as a part-time professional by Dale Mallory, Director of Equipment Management.

The timing could not have been better; the department was making radical changes from general equipment management (everything from chalk, desks, to computers) to focusing on computers, networks, and smart classrooms. With these changes I was able to learn extensive skills in the computer and network areas.
