Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! See CZ:Discipline Workgroups to add yourself to whichever author workgroups you choose. -- Stephen Ewen 02:01, 4 April 2007 (CDT)

Stubs

Actually, I see you are probably meaning creating "stubs". You should see CZ:Introduction to CZ for Wikipedians for the relevant policy on that. Stephen Ewen 15:38, 4 April 2007 (CDT)

Fair use

One thing that will probably be a part of the fair use policy is that the articles the images go in be well developed first. You might want to get to writing the text of those intended articles!  —Stephen Ewen (Talk) 04:40, 1 July 2007 (CDT)

Oliver: Please consider employing the template as just a table within the article, and not a template. The advantage is that it will be easier to use other templates on the table (such as an autosort). --Robert W King 11:58, 7 January 2008 (CST)

We're Partying in the East!

...and when you Euro kids wake, Oliver, it'll be Wednesday.

So join us!

It should be our usual madcap affair.

This month, our special theme is "Something you absolutely love".

Be there or be square!
