I graduated from Silkeborg Amts Gymnasium in 1991 and worked for a year in a wood shop as well as a waiter in Norway and Switzerland before starting on the Informatics line at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Lyngby. I received my M.Sc.E. in 1997 and followed an industrial Ph.D. programme until 2000 where I took leave from the programme while working as an ammanuensis at DTU teaching "Introduction to Programming in Java" for two semesters for a total of 400 students. During my leave I completed a course on Technology Innovation and Management as part of the industrial Ph.D. and that made me realise that I wanted to pursue my options outside academia from 2001 I have worked for Motorola as tester, feature team leader, project software quality assurance responsible, process improvement driver and group leader. My main area of interest: my family, board games, chess, home poker tournaments, mathmatics, computer science, management and leadership books, positive psychology as per Gallup's StrengthsFinder, slot car racing and FC Barcelona.
