I have gained some solid knowledge on the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) while doing research on ARVN General Nguyen Van Hieu's military career since 1998. The results of my research have been posted on the internet at www.generalhieu.com. This website is quite extensive and would produce over 2,000 printed pages. It is widely read and consulted by the general public and the military scholars and historians alike. One of its special accomplishments is to not only provide the South Vietnamese perspective of the 1960-1975 Vietnam War, but also to present an unbiased and comprehensive view of that war which has been distorted by many American and North Vietnamese Communist authors and historians.
