Timothy D. Johnson holds a Ph.D. in American History (1989) from The University of Alabama and is currently Professor of History, Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. He is the author of a dozen articles and numerous book reviews published in scholarly journals. In addition, he is author/editor of three books including: WINFIELD SCOTT: THE QUEST FOR MILITARY GLORY (1998) and A GALLANT LITTLE ARMY: THE MEXICO CITY CAMPAIGN (2007).
