I started studying physics at the University of Ulm and obtained a degree that is called "Vordiplom" in Germany and might be compared with a Bachelor of Science. Afterwards I continued studying at the University of Karlsruhe and got a degree that is called "Diplom" which is the same as a Master of Science. My diploma thesis at the department of experimental nuclear physics was about pion scattering on helium.
After working for five years at the department of physics of the University of Chemnitz, I am now working as a software developer for the leading manufacturer of satellite reception products and TV sets in Germany.
My interests include astronomy and digital photography.
