I am a third year PhD student in Women's Studies with a focus on U. S. History. While my primary research is about the Women's Army Corp during World War II, I have also focus a great deal on theories of nationalism, queerness, and feminisms. I have taught Introduction to Women's Studies through a transnational framework and Gender, Race, and Class in the United States. Through these teaching experiences I have also done a good deal of work in globalization, diaspora studies, identity, subjectivity, intersectionality, theories of difference, oppression, patriarchy, whiteness, privilege, etc.
