I was born on Nov. 29, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY.I spent the WWII years in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. My home has been in Plymouth County, Massachusetts since 1946 although I continued to spend long vacations in Tuscaloosa until the late 1950's.

I was drafted into the US Army in 1966 and served until 1968 including 15 months stationed in Munich, Germany.

I graduated from the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton, N. B., Canada) in 1965. My major was economics, with minors in Political Science and History. I have a Massachusetts certification as a Social Studies teacher grades 5-9 and 9-12. I am especially interested in U. S. History (Civil War buff) and in minor party politics.
