Biog: ...is presently a Research Fellow in the University of Cardiff. He read Biochemistry in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and went on to a PhD in Genetics in 1997, which he defended in 2003. He has since held postdoctoral positions in TCD working on the genetics of Autism, and in Cardiff, UK where he presently lives, working as a statistical geneticist on a number of medical research projects, providing statistical support to researchers in a wide variety of fields, and lecturing in statistics on the MSc in Bioinformatics and Genetic Epidemiology. His main pasttime is listening to music, and plays the guitar, keyboards, and clarinet as a hobby, as well as building and upgrading computers, and very slowly learning the infinite intricacies of Linux.
