I am a Junior at the University of Portland. I am a double major in both History and Photography and intend to attend the University of Chicago to finish up my Masters in History. One of main interests is not only extra-curricular activities such as rock climbing and backpacking but independent research in the area of history. I am beginning my Senior Capstone project for the University of Portland on the effects of religion on history, specifically the effect seen in Beirut in 1983. Intended to use the website as a platform for research and also would like to make the case at the same time that this can be taken as scholarly source.
