I am currently a training specialist for Verizon Communications. I have been with the organization for 10 years, and I am deeply interested and intrigued by the realm of human performance. How we can be the best in all things we do and create. Prior to my employment with Verizon, I worked for Barnes & Noble, Booksellers, Inc. selling books, managing multiple locations and working in a business that I loved, the world of books. However the strain of retail sales and a new district manager provided me the chance to join Verizon. And before working in the book industry, I was a hospital and clinic administrator for 14 years. I enjoyed the challenge of the healthcare environment, the advances in technology and the management of complex organizations. Additionally, I have my undergraduate degree from Stanford University (Human Biology) and my masters' degree in healthcare management from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I also participated in college athletics as a member of the football team.
