Gloria Origgi is tenured researcher at Institut Nicod, CNRS, in Paris. Her main areas of interest are social epistemology, philosophy of social and cognitive science and web studies. She has published a book on W.V. Quine in Italian (Quine, Laterza, 2000), a book on Trust in French (Qu'est-ce que la confiance? VRIN 2007) edited a collection of essays on the impact of IT on writing (Text-e, Palgrave 2006) and many essays on social epistemology. She is the founder of the website for virtual conferences http://www.interdisciplines.org and a regular contributor of http://www.askphilosophers.com.
