I am from BRAZIL, a pharmacist graduated by the University of São Paulo - Pharmaceutical Sciences Faculty - in 1997, with an specialization in Food Technology. I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with my wife and my newborn daughter, now 4 months old.
I have a very broad background. At college, I was an intern in 3 different laboratories: Food Analysis, Biochemistry and Immunology. After graduation, I worked for Ciba-Geigy (now NOVARTIS) and Givaudan-Roure (was part of the Roche group). Started a masters in Toxicology but didn't finished, as at the same time I was working with Regulatory Affairs for a italian company (Sipcam-Agro) on the pesticide business.
Today I work as a Sales Businessman for Latin America for a high-technology american company - W. L. Gore & Associates - the company whom invented the GORE-TEX fabric. I work for the Medical Division, where we have products for Vascular surgery, Neurosurgery, and other medical fields. W. L. Gore is one of the few companies who appeared in all editions of Fortune's 500 best companies to work for.
