I have been a writer and editor all of my adult life. I started in 1965, writing for and then editing an Air Force newspaper. Afterwards, I worked for the Topeka Daily Capital as a copy editor. However, most of my career was spent at the Arizona Republic in Phoenix. I worked there as both a reporter and editor.
For the past five years, I have been editorial director of the Kim Komando Show. Ms. Komando, currently ranked 10th nationally by Arbitron, has about 10 million listeners. I am in charge of editorial products, including four newsletters, two newspaper columns and books. I have a staff of three, plus freelancers.
I hold a degree in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University.
