I received my Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Kennesaw State University in 2001, and my Master of Arts in Music (musicology) from the University of Georgia in December 2006. I expect to begin a PhD in musicology beginning next Fall at either Indiana University or Washington University at St. Louis. I am especially eager to work in the musicological areas, though I also have some experience music analysis and theory, performance and composition, as well as general regional history in North Georgia. I am the author of a small biographical entry on Governor Lamartine Griffin Hardman in the New Georgia Encyclopedia ( http://www.georgiaencyclopedia.org/)
