A graduate of the West Chester University School of Music, Bruce Greenwald created the Audubon Jazz Explosion 17 Piece Big Band in 1993. Bruce led the band for 10 years, founded a 7 piece Dixieland band called Dixie on the Side, and has performed on saxophone and clarinet all over the Delaware Valley in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The Audubon Jazz Explosion Big Band produced two professional CDs. Bruce is currently performing with multiple big bands around the Philadelphia area and is an adjudicator for the Cavalcade of Bands for high school jazz stage band competitions.
