• Exchange student in Nairobi, Kenya with AFS the year 1985

• Architecture School of Århus 1987

• Travel to India and Nepal 1988

• Nordlys Healing Massage Training 1990-1992

• University of Århus, History of Ideas plus Systemworks 1992-1994

• Esperanto studies in Karlskoga, Sweden, in the autumns of 1994 & 1995
