Andy Zimolzak (born 1980) graduated in 2002 from Michigan State University with a B.S. in biochemistry with high honor. As an undergraduate he assisted with basic science research into mechanisms of malignant transformation in human fibroblasts. Andy is part of the M.D. class of 2007 of Washington University in Saint Louis, and his residency training is beginning at the University of Missouri-Columbia. His professional interest lies in general internal medicine, including the application of medical informatics to medical education and quality assurance. He also has interests and some formal education in the history of multiple fields of the arts.
