I am a college student, working towards a Computer Science BS degree at Rutgers University. I began college studying Electrical and Computer Engineering but switched to CS after determining that I wished to focus more on software. Before that I attended a science and engineering specialized high school program (in Manalapan High School in Englishtown, NJ). I am interested largely in video game music, and have worked on many projects relating to extracting and playing such music. I'm interested in video game development, but I don't play games very often. I consider myself quite a good programmer, and have been to the 2007 ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals in Japan on a team representing the Greater New York Region. I am a casual anime watcher and devoted science fiction reader. Aside from my particular attachment to video game music, I enjoy a wide variety of music genres.
