Signal type and altitude

Wasn't sure where the signal type and altitude restriction in the definition came from, but radar altimeters are commonly continuous wave (modulated perhaps) not pulse, and, if you consider terrain avoidance and terrain contour mapping, routinely are used for tactical missions at 30 meters or so.
