Peter Dobkin Hall [r]:

(1946-2015) Cultural historian, archivist and an early leader of the Program on Nonprofit Organizations (PONPO) at Harvard University, Professor of History and Theory in the School of Public Affairs, Baruch College, City University of New York, and Senior Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations. His best known book is Inventing the Nonprofit Sector.
