2010 Elections
Primary election: May 11
Representative Lee Terry will be seeking a 7th term in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is being challenged from within his own party by Matt Sakalosky, a supporter of the Tea Party Movement. On the Democratic side, Tom White will be seeking the nomination of his party in the upcoming May 11 primary. The 2nd Congressional District, which features this race, is centered on Omaha. The district supported Barack Obama in the 2008 Presidential election and thus Rep. Terry is seen as potentially vulnerable.[1]
