Cheng Li Hui is a controversial Singaporean politician and a former People's Action Party (PAP) member. She resigned in 2023 due to involvement in extramarital affair scandal.

Controversy

Extramarital affair scandal

On 17 July 2023, Tan Chuan Jin and Cheng Li Hui, resigned their party member and MP role due to involvement in extramarital affair scandal.[1] Cheng is unmarried and she is the mistress of Tan Chuan Jin in the extramarital affair.[2]

Personal life

Cheng is the daughter of Cheng Buck Poh, the founder and Executive Chairman of Hai Leck Holdings. She has three siblings.[3][4]
