Osgood-Schlatter disease [r]: An overuse injury causing knee pain and limp in adolescents; caused by inflammation of the tendon below the kneecap (patellar tendon) where it attaches to the shinbone (tibia); while most commonly an athletic injury, can be confused with injury from child abuse
