She was acquired by [[Pierson Steamships Ltd]] in 1981, and renamed the ''J. F. Vaughn'', only to be acquired by [[P. & H. Shipping Ltd.]] and renamed ''Oakglen''.<ref name=greatlakesvesselhistoryWilliamHWarner/>
