The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs is produced by the American Education Trust (AET). It was formed by retired Foreign Service Officers, and endorses [[United Nations Security Council Resolution 242], the "land for peace" proposal to solve the Israel-Palestine conflict. It states its goal is to provide a balanced view of the Middle East. [1] It is nonpartisan and privately funded; the supporting group, AET, has Palestinian as well as Israeli and American involvement.
