I received a masters in physical chemistry and biochemistry in 1982 from the free university of amsterdam and was awarded a doctorate at the leiden university in physical chemistry on a study on the dynamic behavior of partially charged polyelectrolytes in a bad solvent in the very diluted regime. | |||
After that I did quite some research for privately held companies that didn't allow publication of the researches executed. Slowly moving away from chemictry toward process automation and interactions with databases I became more and more interested with the concept of active databasemanagement in laborotory situations - extending towards office automation and distributed computer problems. | |||
Nowadays I lecture at the holland highschool (college) as well at the the hague highschool. | |||
Other projects involve knowledge management problems and semantics within computer sciences as well as cryptography problems. | |||

Added some fundamentals to the chemistry pages as it was not clear that contrary to physics chemistry deals only with the interactions between electrons or physical forces with electron(s).
